Please call our office or email us to schedule your appointments. Our receptionists and client care assistants will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
After Hours Emergencies
We share emergency services for small animals with two other animal hospitals in Kearney, so there will always be a veterinarian on-call. If ever an emergency comes up, don't hesitate to call our regular office phone number 1-308-234-2617, and you will be forwarded to the Emergency Veterinarian.
For our Equine and Large Animal Patients our Emergency Services are provided by the Doctors of Riverside.
If your pet shows any of the following symptoms, please call us as soon as possible:
- Unable to breath
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Constant bleeding
- Trying to urinate, but unable
- Severe pain
- Constant itching
- Hit by car
- Ate something inappropriate
- Labor complications
- Attacked by another animal
- Persistent seizures

*Select veterinarians only. We provide routine care for Ferrets, Rabbits and Small Mammals. We are not exotic animal specialists but are capable of providing routine care such as nutritional consultations, dental care and nail trims, as well as treatment of some common illnesses and surgical procedures. If we are not able to provide the care that your valued pet needs we will gladly refer you to a clinic that is able to provide those services.
